This sixth newsletter is packed full of information seeing as the semester has been extremely busy for both the Dominique & Tom Alberici Foundation and our Endowment Fund.
The Madagascar Disability and Assistance Twinning (JHAM) mission, third of its name, was held in March and conducted by Emmanuèle Gerdil, Administrator of the Alberici Foundation. It heralds the successful conclusion of over twelve months of preparation, with the distribution of equipment donated by companies and friends of the Foundation. Eight Malagasy centres each received a share of this equipment, and two centres benefitted from training provided by Pascale Sapin and Brigitte Ramond, our special needs trainers. A highly rewarding experience as ever, although this mission, and the customs clearance of the container in particular, proved hazardous.
