The Foundation’s board of directors convenes four times a year to choose the projects it intends to support. During these board meetings, each administrator suggests a project, and can, if necessary, contact the promoting organisation to examine the project in greater depth.
The “project” form
Selection of projects presented during the board meeting
Examination by an Administrator
Presentation during a board meeting
Decision by the board of directors
Creation of the sponsorship agreement
Funding and monitoring of the project
Institut Dominique & Tom Alberici can also be called upon to further the scope of the foundation’s support to projects that are symbolic of its mission. Such is the case of projects that are highly complementary to historic projects or that can be duplicated with the help of promoting partner organisations. The institute and foundation share the same mission and board of directors.
